Alchemy Equine in partnership with Lindsay Keating of Equitouch Bodywork invite you to join us for an afternoon of learning. Lindsay is trained and certified in equine sports massage therapy and in red light therapy, myofasical release, cranial sacral therapy, and kinesiology rocktape. Lindsay's demo will demonstrate how to evaluate for soreness, causes of pain in certain areas of the horse, massage techniques and stretches that can benefit your horse. Her discussion will include how she uses rock tape in her practice along with its benefits.

The second half of our discussion will explain saddle fit and how our saddle fit can play a key role in the points of pain in our horses. Lindsay will demo with different saddles the points to check with your own saddle as well as touch upon thermography and how it can assist in proper saddle fit. From this, Lindsay will touch upon the biomechanics of your horse and how you cannot ride your horse biomechanically correct if your saddle does not fit.
